Gruesome Twosome
What a wonderful morning for a race! This morning some of our hard core members headed to the wolds with their running buddies and ran the Gruesome Twosome which was brilliantly organised by Tape2Tape Events. Becky and Carol did the half marathon a great run over that distance ladies! Ian and Janine ran the 10k joined by Helena and Treena ! Then the aptly named "no time to lose" which was made up my Mark Sands and one of our youngest members Luke Haynes finished first over the line bringing home a trophy!
Well done all of you and thank you to everyone from Tape to tape!
3 Peaks Fell Race
Massive Kudos to Andrew Gledhill who ran the 3 peaks fell race. The Three Peaks Race traverses the famous Yorkshire Dales mountains of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and is one of the oldest, most famous and best organised fell races in Britain. Andrew finished in a very respectable 5hr 16 minutes. No pizza at the end this time but plenty of beer and homemade cake!
