Sunday 20th March

Once again, our runners travelled far and wide to represent our club this weekend!

We had runners travel to Wetherby, Barnsley and March to take part in some parkrun tourism! Others travelled to take part in races!

Ed Crawford and Mark Lyon ran the Ashby 20 on this sunny Sunday, in times of 2h24 and 2h54 respectively. The undulating route begins and finishes in Ashby de la Zouch and takes in the scenic views of the Leicestershire countryside.

Charlotte Turnbull ran the Sherwood Pines half marathon in an impressive time of 2h15. The organisers say this trail half marathon is ideal for those new to running, so if anyone fancies the challenge of a half marathon, this could be the race for you!

Luke Haynes travelled to Kent to represent English Schools in Cross Country. He was really happy to be there and ran the 7km course in a time of 29:26. This young man has a promising running career ahead of him!

Skegness and District Running Club continues to be a fully inclusive club, offering dedicated training to runners of all abilities. We have training nights throughout the week in Skegness, Boston, Spilsby & Horncastle. See our Website for further details.
