We have a busy June ahead with 2 of our most popular attended races this month.
This week Grimsby 10km. 21 Runners took to the ever popular Grimsby 10km route on Sunday morning in classic Grimsby 10km Weather....Very hot!
Lee Mullen crossed the line in 7th place, first for SADRC and with a brand new 10km PB in a time of 32:43. Jenson Winsor was not far behind in a time of 35:54 in 29th and Simon Wise in a time of 39:39 finishing 3rd for SADRC.
Jenny Hunt was SADRC first lady crossing the line in 45:27 followed by a returning Angela Cragg in 48:13. Ruth Bullen finished in 51:02.
Special Mentions go to Chris Hurst who ran a new PB time of 43:40, Sally Sharpe crossing the line in an amazing 53:16 and Claire Harness who ran a 10km PB in a time of 1hr02. Rob Goddard who has finished his 3/3 races to raise money for Cats Protection!
A fantastic day for all running today in Grimsby!
Elsewhere, Darren Fissenden and Leanne Rickett completed the Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon. The race starts and ends on the Silver Jubilee Bridge! This Grade II listed bridge runs between Widnes and Runcorn and goes over the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal. Darren crossed the line in 1hr37 and Leanne in 1hr53.
Dave Kenyon finished his Park Run Alphabet this weekend finishing his letter Q at Queens Park Glasgow. Dave completed this whilst on his epic cycle of "Pub Ride 2024" from Dublin to Copenhagen. Good Luck Dave!
The Lincoln Wellington 5km series is back and this week Lee Mullen took it on. Crossing the line in a fantastic new 5km PB time of 15:34. Double PBs this week for Lee!
