ITS LONDON MARATHON WEEKEND

Jimmy Hearn and Leanne Rickett both represented SADRC at London Marathon today!!! Finally the 40th London Marathon could go ahead.... #londonmarathon

What an insane marathon to be part of. With it missing a year this years marathon seemed to have an unreal energy and be electric on the course!!!

Both Jimmy and Leanne have commented on the atmosphere saying it was nothing they have ever experienced before!!!

A HUGE congratulations to both runners this weekend. Leanne ran in the world's and starts her 3 marathon weekend roll with a great time of 4hr17. Jimmy finished the course just behind in a time of 4hr38 and already wants to run another.

London Virtual Marathon

Not only did we have runners in London we had runners race in Lincolnshire to complete the virtual London marathon joining 40000 runners virtually!! Robin organised a run from Horncastle to Skegness where runners supported and cheered each other along!

A HUGE congratulations to Robin, Jane, Lee, Abbey, Dawn, Becky, Gareth, Corrine and Nathan. Nathan completed his first ever marathon and a fantastic sub 5hr time which is amazing! What a fantastic virtual marathon supported by so many amazing runners!

That's how incredible the running community is!

.... A huge shout out to the supporters for the London Virtual this morning.

Various distances were joined at, water stations were provided, lifts were given and support along the way! This is what running is all about. Supporting each other. Even if you support for 1 mile.... That 1 mile can make a huge difference. Shout outs go to Carol, Avril, Martin, Helena, Steph, Julie, Adam and Chris

A shout out to Carol Dulat who ran the London Virtual today. Maybe not in Lincolnshire but that's the best thing about being virtual, it could be completed anywhere!!!

Carol... YOU ARE A MARATHON RUNNER!
