A brand new week, and a brand new month!
How are we into August already?
James Willis took on the Revesby Half Marathon on Sunday! James finished just under the 2 hour mark, a great run, and the fastest over 50, congratulations! The race is a complete trial run, so good for the knees and a great fun run!
Lee Mullen and Phillip Weaver ran the 10km which is also available at the Revesby Estate. Lee defended his title from last year finishing 1st in the morning. A great run in a time of 35:17 minutes. Phil finished 5th overall and also finished first in his age category in a time of 40:32. Congratulations to both of you!
Luke Haynes is improving week in week out whilst at university in York. This weekend he represented his university team running the York 10km in a PB time of 34:29 which is an incredible time and will be fighting for the first SADRC runner over the line in no time! Luke has no plans on stopping improving his time, and we are behind you every step of the way! Keep it going Luke!
Our Wednesday Night series keeps on going throughout the wet and windy start to August. A Fab Quartet took part in the Croxby One Lap on Wednesday night. It was great to see Mark Sands racing again, fantastic to see him back with the SADRC vest on and we wish you all the best getting back to fitness. Great runs from Steven Dowse crossing the line in second place, Rebecca Atkinson and Dave Kenyon.
