Sunday 8th December 2019

Despite the cold and windy conditions this weekend, Skegness and district runners donned their black and orange vests and headed out for a weekend of running.

Jimmy and Emmajean Hearn had a sunny run at the Richmond 10k.

The route saw them take in the lovely park scenery, with glimpses of the London skyline in between the trees, and herds of deer roaming freely.

A brisk breeze and some puddles didn't put them off their stride to finish, making sure they got their medal and mince pie. Emmajean finished first in her age category in a fantastic time of 54.11 with Jimmy not far behind finishing in 55.28.

Meanwhile, back in Lincolnshire, saw the last of this year’s Lincs League cross country, this time in Louth.

Despite the very hilly and muddy course, it was a great turnout with some fantastic results.

Meanwhile, over in Louth, was the last Lincs Cross Country race of the year. It’s a great course and, despite the hills and very muddy conditions, everyone had a brilliant run.
