Despite the pouring rain, Rebecca Atkinson and Steven Dowse ran the Leeds Abbey Dash 10km on Sunday. Steven ran a very impressive 35:46, his new Personal Best with Rebecca not far behind him in 54:59.
Saturday morning saw a group of runners meeting for a social, chatty run around Snipe Dales. The weather was perfect for running and they were happy it wasn’t too muddy! Although, I think they were happier to have discovered a new cafe for a big breakfast together afterwards!
Our runners have started to prepare for the return of Cross Country, with the first run taking place on Sunday 31st October. More details can be found on our Members Page & our XC Captains, Ed & Sarah, will be sharing more information in due course!
I am sure that many of our members will be anxiously awaiting the Ballot Results today for the London Marathon 2023! Congratulations to those who have secured their places already and good luck to those waiting to hear. Sunday long runs will be starting again- why not share your runs on our Members Page & see if anyone would like to join you! Miles with friends are more enjoyable!
