Barcelona Marathon
Congratulations to Richard Gibbs, who, as you do, applied for Barcelona Marathon as pre training for the marathon season ahead!
Richard felt a lot happier running this than his last one a few weeks ago "probably the most solid I’ve felt during a marathon"
Richard finished in beautiful sunshine in a fantastic time of 2:36:13 and 54th overall. What a fantastic race to be part of! Congratulations and its wonderful to follow you racing!
Grim Up Norths Spring Canal Canter
Congratulations to Steven Dowse and Becky Atkinson who woke up in the crack of dawn on Sunday to travel up to Leeds to take part in this race! This established out and back race takes place on good trail path and perfect for a fast Half Marathon Time!
Both agreed it was a tough race, that or that it was an early and long start! A well organised and very scenic out and back half marathon along the canal.
Steven crossed the line in 2nd place in a time of 01:22:05 Becki finished in 25th crossing the line, sub 2 hours in a time of 01:57:59.
Excellent running from you both and its great to see where you both end up each weekend!
