Last weekend was all about the trail running for 2 Skegness and District Running Club members Andrew Gledhill an Paul Wilson and both came away from their events as age category prize winners.
Andrew headed over to Yorkshire on Sunday for the Mickleden Straddle Fell Race. A strong performance (2:40:47) culminating in a 2nd placing in the M60 category gains him an entry to the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Fell Race in April.
Paul Wilson coped fantastically with a very wet and very muddy course at the Grizedale Trail 26 Marathon, also on Sunday, in the Lake District. Paul said he had brilliant fun despite the conditions and tough climbing, bagging 3rd place in his age category and finished in 31st place overall with a time of 4:16:26.
