As we head into December it’s appropriate that this weekend saw club runners out in force taking on the 17th annual Skegness Santa fun run.
Despite the icy conditions the run still went ahead as runners were pleased of the extra layer provided by their Santa suits.
First back for the club, and also winning the race, was Simon Wise in 17.06. Other club runners included Janet Harmston, Helen Shelton and Mike Booth.
This coming week is National food bank week and we’re encouraging everyone to bring an item with them to a club night to donate to their local food bank if they’re able to.
More details can be found on our Facebook page but some of the items required include biscuits, selection boxes, tinned vegetables, hot chocolate and children’s books.
