Last week, we had a team of runners tale on Leicestershire Half Marathon. Lee Mullen crossed the line in 2nd place with a fantastic new PB time of 1hr13:15 followed very closely by returning Richard Gibbs in a 3rd place time of 1hr13:44. Fantastic running by you both getting 2nd and 3rd. Phillip Weaver was not far behind and ran a PB Race too in a time of 1hr22. Darren Fissenden ran a time of 1hr36 continuing his marathon training. Leanne Rickett also ran this race. Well done to the FAB FIVE!

Robbie Goddard and Gill Parks travelled down to the very popular London Cancer Research Winter 10km. A run which is very close to many hearts raising lots of money for Cancer Research. They ran together as a team, as its runs like this where the journey is better than the time. Its about spending time together and making memories. They crossed the line in 1hr28.

Steven Dowse and Rebecca Atkinson travelled to Buckinghamshire to take part in Winslow 10km. A run around the rural ancient market town. Always nice to run somewhere new. Steven crossed the line in 5th place in a time of 36:07 followed by Becki in 53:16. It was a tough course being hilly, but with other events cancelled the duo took to Buckinghamshire. A small race but its great to support small local races.

This week, Andrew Thompson ran in the Cambridge Half Marathon and ran a fantastic race earning himself a new PB half marathon time of 1hr22. Perfect weather conditions this weekend as the rain had finally decided to stop for a few hours. A great run, Congratulations Andrew!
