Alan Fountain travelled to Sawtry to represent SADRC in the Sawtry 10 Mile race. The race is a one loop course around the quiet, gently undulating country roads passing Hamerton Zoo & Aversley & Archers Woods before heading back to finish the loop. Alan completed the race in 1hour41. A very hot day and hilly course therefore a result Alan should be proud of!
Adam Leagate represented SADRC in the Broughton Burn 10km. Nicknamed "feel the burn" the race is wonderfully scenic, which makes for a challenging route but has friendly marshals and great organisations. Adam competed the race in 49:44. Adam joined the club 6 weeks ago and is already representing the club around the UK. Welcome to the club Adam. (Also, what a finishing tunnel!)
