Anyone else inspired by the Commonwealth Games! If watching Eilish McColgan crossing the finishing line doesn’t inspire you to put those running shoes on, nothing will!

The Croxby Crawl final race of the series was on Wednesday night. A muggy yet dry night in the 4.4 mile route. Steven Dowse attended and finished 3rd with a fantastic time of 26.19 minutes! The results will be out later in the week to find out the final standings after the 4 Croxby Crawl races! Good Luck to all runners!

The new Revesby Race the Estate 10km race was on Sunday. The Revesby Country Show is a fantastic village show, well attend by locals and further afield. 2 SADRC runners represented in the Half Marathon. Adam Coffey crossed the line with an amazing time of 1hr31, finishing 2nd in the race! Matt Stevens followed crossing the line in 7th place in a time of 1hr49. Great runnning from both gentleman!

The 10km had fantastic results from SADRC. Lee Mullen crossed the line in first place, taking Gold from the race in a time of 37.20. A huge congratulations, what an achievement!! Graham Farley finished on the hour, to the T, Henrietta Wells (56.38) and Chris Hurst also represented SADRC who crossed the line in 55.35 seconds. Hannah Gould finished this brand new race in a time of 1hr05.

A new race is always exciting as some races are within private grounds, and its always nice to see beautiful grounds normally sheltered from the public. A brand new race which we will all the best for its future success.

Our SADRC runners travel around the world and this weekend was no different. You become a real runner when you take your trainers on holiday and Ben Liversidge not only took them with him, but attend a race too! The Bangkok Double Bridge Run 10km. An out and back 10km course in Bangkok saw Ben cross the line in a time of 52.31 minutes.

Throughout the summer, its fantastic to see so many people running at the weekend with training plans for the Autumn races. Simon, Andy, Matt, Mark, Chris and Ricky ran the streets and hills of Spilsby completing a 16 mile training run ready for the marathons later on in the year. The furthest distance completed for Simon which is fantastic! So much easier to tick off those miles with friends and a good chat! Shaun and Sarah finished a training run for the Great North Run completing a great 9 mile route in Spilsby.
